At the Institute of Geoenergy, our research focuses on developing innovative solutions that connect energy with environmental protection. We investigate technologies for carbon dioxide (CO₂) capture, storage and utilization, hydrogen production, transport and storage solutions, circular economy technologies, the impacts of petroleum pollutants on the natural environment, and approaches for mitigating pollution associated with the use of fossil fuels.
At the same time, we explore the role of marine ecosystems in carbon sequestration, biodiversity conservation, and enhancing the resilience of coastal areas to climate change. Guided by scientific excellence and innovation, we contribute to building a more sustainable and resilient future for the environment, society, and future generations.
