Short Conference on "Geoenergy and Energy Transition"

We are pleased to invite you to the Short Conference "Geoenergy and Energy Transition" that we are organizing within the framework of the European-funded project ‘TWINN2SET-Twinning to Sustainable Energy Transition’.  The project is implemented by the University of Stavanger and the IFPEN (IFP Energies Nouvelles) under the coordination of the Institute of Geoenergy of the Foundation for Research and Technology.

The short conference focuses on Geoenergy and Energy Transition aspects and will take place hybrid on 19 March 2026 at the ‘Grand Arsenali’, Chania port.

Upon completion of the TWINN2SET project, its outcomes and overall results will be analyzed, along with interesting presentations on Geoenergy, Underground Storage of H2 and CO2, Geothermal Energy and broader issues within the framework of the Energy Transition.
