The Institute of Geoenergy (IG) of the Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH) and GEOTECH GEORESOURCES TECHNOLOGY S.A. established a five (5) years cooperation through a bilateral agreement for working together under their common principles of research interest on fields such of geology and evaluation of geothermal fields-reservoirs, integrated exploration and production projects in geothermy, exploitation of geothermal fields-reservoirs and evaluation of hydrocarbon fluids and their properties.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties is introducing a wide framework of cooperation and establishing an efficient communication scientific channel, based on the principles of common interest, reciprocity, and complementarity, that will advance the research on Geological key characteristics, evaluation and modeling of geothermal fields, including conceptual, static and dynamic modelling as well as modelling of fluids’ flow in geothermal wells and production tubing networks and the development of Geothermal Energy as well as related ones in Oil, Gas and CO2 Storage.
