Analytical Services & Laboratory Capabilities

We conduct innovative research and experimental studies aimed at developing advanced methodologies, analytical techniques and sustainable technological solutions. Our laboratories support material characterization, environmental sample analysis as well as isotopic and geochemical analyses.

Sample Preparation & Pretreatment

Ensuring sample integrity and reliable analytical performance

We provide comprehensive sample preparation and pretreatment services designed to support a wide range of analytical applications. Our laboratory performs sample handling and pretreatment for environmental and geological samples, including soil, water, sediments, fuels and other complex matrices. Using optimized protocols for extraction, purification, conditioning and sample processing, we ensure compatibility with advanced analytical instrumentation and analytical requirements.

II. Physicochemical Characterization & Qualitative/Quantitative Analysis

Equipped with modern analytical systems, the laboratory provides services for the physicochemical characterization of samples and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of their chemical composition. Sample analyses are performed for the determination of hydrocarbons and the assessment of overall pollution levels, as well as for the study of gaseous samples. In parallel, applications related to the characterization and evaluation of catalysts and oxides are supported, serving research needs in the field of energy. Finally, through the use of an isotopes analysis system, the laboratory offers the capability for stable isotope investigations.

Our institute is equipped with a polarizing (petrographic) microscope, offering specialized microscopic examination services. Through the study of thin sections, we perform accurate mineral identification, rock texture analysis and interpretation of their formation history.
