Emmanuel Stamatakis: He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering & and a Master in Production Management Systems (MBA). He has recently elected as Senior Researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research DEMOKRITOS (NCSRD) in the field of Hydrogen Technologies with emphasis on Integrated Systems for Dual-Use Applications. He also acts as external research Collaborator at the Institute of GeoEnergy of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas. In the past he has been working as a Researcher/Research Collaborator for various Research Centers in Greece and abroad for over 20 years in the fields of Petroleum Research, Renewable Energy, Hydrogen Technology and Environmental Protection. He has been acting as the main liaison between the industry and the research community on various hydrogen energy & environmental issues during his career, having fulfilled a large number of industrial research programs through his active participation in all stages, from the preparation and submission of the proposal until the successful completion of the project, having delivered numerous industrial technical reports. Involved as a research scientist in various National & International environmental & hydrogen energy. He has significant experience in project management and project proposal preparation & evaluation. He has been teaching at the University of Western Macedonia in Policy, Markets and Legislation for Hydrogen Technologies. He is active Member of the Hydrogen Strategy Committee of the Ministry of Environment & assigned as Non-Governmental Expert for Greece (EL CnGE) at the Energy and Environment (EnE) CapTech of the EUROPEAN DEFENCE AGENCY (EDA). He is also the Ambassador of the European Organization Hydrogen Europe in Crete for the promotion of Hydrogen Technologies on the island. Co-inventor in Hellenic Patent "Thermal Hydrogen Compressor" (No 1010582).
